The UBC Medical Imaging Club invited you to Screening Saves Lives, a free in-person event with Dr. Leipsic, Head of the Department of Radiology at UBC and faculty in Radiology and Cardiology.
This presentation will review why routine image screening matters and explore current BC screening programs, including for breast, cervix, colon and lung cancer.
Food will be provided for free, and all students are welcome to attend regardless of club membership. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Leipsic, an internationally recognized leader in cardiac imaging with over 800 peer-reviewed publications. We will also be hosting a radiology-themed Kahoot to encourage interaction across different majors.
