Event Information:

Join members of the Department of Physics & Astronomy to celebrate the festive season by remotely gathering to hear answers to the following questions:

What makes the reindeer able to fly? What technology allows the elves to make all those toys? Does Santa use the principles of relativity and quantum mechanics to deliver all the gifts in a single night?

In the spirit of the holidays, come dressed in your favourite festive hat or outfit (from your own family tradition, whatever you celebrate) - or make an appropriate background - and we'll share the gallery view of the audience!

This event is expected to be at a level appropriate for the general public and high school students who have an interest in physics and astronomy.
