Email -  Large Files

Sending large files through email is discouraged! -- especially to multiple recipients. If fact, Mail Transfer Agents ( like sendmail) have a upper limit on the size of a message. In the past, the standard for this limit has been 10 MB. UBC mail relays currently use 50 MBytes.

The recommended method to send large messages to multiple recipients is to post your document as a web page & then mail out the URL. If this is unsuitable, perhaps for reasons of confidentiality, you can use a File Transfer Service or an online Collaboration service.
