OVERVIEW
This webpage is meant to serve multiple purposes:
- My research activities are described in RESEARCH, and a
partial list of publications is given in PUBLICATIONS-
many of these publications can be downloaded in .pdf form
directly from the webpage. A partial list of my talks appears in
SEMINARS/TALKS. A brief biography appears in
BIOGRAPHY. Any
vacancies or open positions in my research group are given in VACANCIES. My
research group can be found at here. The pages of the other
condensed matter theory faculty at UBC are at CM
Theory.
- My teaching activities are detailed briefly in TEACHING; usually the course notes for current courses can be downloaded directly from this page.
- I am also director of the PACIFIC INSTITUTE for THEORETICAL PHYSICS (PITP). This institute runs many activities, including the GREEN COLLEGE/PITP LECTURES in QUANTUM PHENOMENA, organized by PITP and Green college at UBC. I also coordinate the activities of the QUANTUM CONDENSED MATTER network of PITP.
- A large number of useful LINKS can be used to go to other websites from here. Amongst these are links to several CONFERENCES I have organized in recent years.
