These problems
from the 2nd edition are intended to
help
you prepare for the midterms and the final. Be aware that the material tested
by the midterms and final is cumulative, and you should expect
questions that require you to synthesize your total knowledge of QM at that point
- including previously covered topics.
These review problems will not be collected and are meant to be representative of
the type of problems that might appear on the exam; however,
they do not comprise a complete set and no assumption of completeness is implied by this list.
Rather, it is your responsibility to understand everything
in the book up to and including the section(s) that will be covered in the exam.
Note: an electronic copy of the solutions to these problems will not be provided; however,
if you have done or started on a problem and wish to know if you are "on the right track,"
feel free to stop by during my office hours and we can discuss your solution together.
