My name is Aidan Chatwin-Davies, and I am a postdoctoral fellow in the String Theory Group at the University of British Columbia. I work on problems where gravity and quantum information intersect; I'm particularly interested in cosmology, black holes, and the quantum nature of spacetime.

I will be at UBC until March 2023, at which point I will return from being on leave from my appointment as a postdoctoral fellow of the FWO (Research Foundation Flanders) at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at KU Leuven. I graduated from the California Institute of Technology in June 2018, where my Ph.D. advisor was Prof. Sean Carroll. Before that, my Master's advisor at the University of Waterloo was Prof. Achim Kempf.
