We study the heteronuclear dynamic enhancement model for Coulombic explosion of clusters under intense irradiation. The explosion dynamics of deuterated methane clusters are compared to methane and pure deuterium clusters. We also present studies of radiative blast wave evolution and the laser machining of cluster media to seed instability growth.
