Event Information:
Title:
Science with LISA across scales, and how to extract it from the data
Abstract:
The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) is a space-based gravitational wave detector due to launch in 2035. It will observe gravitational waves in the millihertz band, at lower frequencies than ground based detectors. This will give us access to gravitational wave sources across a vast range of scales, from our own Galaxy out to very high redshifts and possibly the early Universe.
Event Location:
HENN 318
Speaker:
Natalia Korsakova, Observatoire de la Cote d'Azur
