The Winter Nuclear and Particle Physics Conference,
formerly known as the Western Regional Nuclear Physics Conference,
has evolved into a national meeting for the Canadian subatomic
community, with a special focus on providing a forum for
junior researchers (students and postdocs).
As usual, the conference will feature invited talks by
experts in the field.
The call for contributed papers will be circulated soon.
When registering, please indicate whether you will be
contributing a paper, so we know to expect your abstract.
Graduate students in particular
are encouraged to attend, and to present their work in front of their
peers from across the country.
There will be prizes for best student presentations ($250/$150/$100 for
1st/2nd/3rd place).
There still are rooms available at the Banff Center.
Please book now!
The registration and abstract deadline is
January 21st.
Please e-mail your abstract, preferably in using our LaTeX template,
to joanna AT phas.ubc.ca (see more instructions here).
The 45th WNPPC is organized by UBC and TRIUMF.
