Congratulations to Dr. Gary Hinshaw, who has been elected to the Royal Society of Canada!
Astronomer and astrophysicist Gary Hinshaw is an expert in cosmology and cosmic background radiation. His work at UBC focuses on exploring the large scale properties of the Universe: its origin, evolution and ultimate fate. He is a member of the Cosmology Team of CHIME - The Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment.
The Royal Society of Canada fellowships are the highest academic accolade in the sciences, humanities and arts bestowed in this country.
